This master thesis is trying to confirm if authors are consistent in keeping principles of genetolinguistic classification of idioms when dosing genetic and structural criteria, and if sociolinguistic factors affect their decisions. Second chapter describes methodology and theoretical framework. Third chapter analyzes relevant literature from area which deals with delimitation between central-south slavic idioms which are on hierarchical level of dialect groups and studies that are concerned with similar or related themes. In fourth chapter listed arguments and proofs are evaluated while considering adequacy from comparative and/or geneto-linguistic standpoint.
