The theoretical part presents the types of natural dyes, the process of dying textiles with natural dyes as well as their advantages and disadvantages compared to textiles dyed with synthetic dyes. The empirical part studies the market for textiles dyed with natural dyes based on their geographical position, the number of companies in this field, the price range of textiles, their purpose, the dyes and textile materials used, the treatment process and additional texting printing. The data were recorded using a Google’s office tool, Google Sheets, and analysed using pivot tables, while currencies were conversed using a less known function, Google Finance. The research is important from the viewpoint of market evaluation in terms of naturally dyed textiles. According to the results, most providers of textiles dyed with natural dyes are located in the developed countries. We studied 58 providers from 19 countries and 1,559 products in total. A wide price range is characteristic of the textile market. The average price of textiles is 113.73 euros. The most common used textiles dyed with natural dyes are used for clothes and, in rarer cases, for home accessories. Providers of textiles dyed with natural dyes mostly decided to use independently used dyes, of which indigo stood out the most. In addition to dyes, textile material is the second most important area where natural textile materials still prevail. Providers mostly decided to use 100% cotton. Less than 10% of textiles were mordanted, of which iron mordant is the most common. Less frequently, they opted for the combination of tannin and other mordants. Less than 5% of textiles were additionally printed, yet mostly with natural substances.
