Abstract
Namen našega diplomskega dela je bil poljuben risani karakter stilsko spremeniti v figuro z veliko glavo, jo zmodelirati, 3D natisniti v dveh tehnologijah, obdelati in primerjati. Zmodelirani model smo natisnili z dvema različnima tehnologijama 3D-tiska, in sicer s tehnologijo modeliranja s spajanjem slojev in nato še s stereolitografijo. Ocenili smo končni vizualni izgled obeh figur.

Title:Modeling and 3D printing of figures in Funko Pop style
Abstract:
The purpose of our diploma work was to transform cartoon character into a figurine, with a large head, to model it, print it in 3D in two technologies and to process and compare it. We got a unique collector’s figure, that cannot to be found in the market, but there is a demand for it. We opted for a side character from the Japanese cartoon series Goblin Slayer and sketched in Illustrator, in the style of the most popular biggest figurines of big heads, in the Funko Pop style. They art collectible figures from pop culture. In the theoretical part, we presented the production of the mentioned figurines. We researched how many collector figures have already been produced, which already are 3D printed and a short presentation of the technology, that is best for making them. In the experimental part, we presented the materials and the methods used in making the figure and described the modeling procedures that we made from our sketch. The modeled model was printed with two different 3D printing technologies, by merging the layers and then by stereolithography. In the end, we compared ourselves with the manufactured figures in judged, which technology is more appropriate for the task. Then we analyzed our work and we also included price of printing for each of the mentioned work technologies. We subsequently processed and painted the figurines and added a coat. We made a printed coat and evaluated the final visual appearance of this figurine.
