Throughout history, and especially today, when accessible technology allows for significantly greater creativity, we can observe in-depth attempts at film insights into one’s own essence. The self-questions touch on a wide variety of aspects of the film and the current fast-paced time. Before the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, we made a short film Jaz, pomagaj or. I, Help Me, a contemporary psychological drama that depicts mental battles within ourselves in a creative and metaphorical way, which also symbolizes our responsibility for mental health. For a good presentation of the story, there are individuals in the background, with an immense desire to create and improve their own talents, especially for the format of the film form. From initiator, set designer, director, photographer, actors, make-up artist, costume designer, set designer to cameraman; each plays an important role in the film mosaic. The film crew is the link between the idea and the final product. Due to the desire for a different film product, various creators participated in the project, devoting a lot of selfless help, their time and effort to the process. In the diploma work I present all the processes of film production in a broader sense, and describe the first film experience. The film was premiered at the Slovenian Film Festival, but it received a lot of approval, and above all, it completely surprised our expectations with further participation in international festivals. The team of the film Jaz, pomagaj/I, Help Me created a good story, beautiful memories, and above all, a lot of feelings of pride for the effort and developing the idea into the final product.
