The thesis deals with the topic of making a plan, of the control enclosure of earthing switches, for the needs of remote earthing of the catenary for the Slovenske železnice (hereinafter SŽ).
The content of thesis is divided into two parts. The first part describes the stable devices for electric traction (hereinafter SDET) which supply the catenary. Remote supervision and control system SDET is described. The second part presents the design of the control enclosure of earthing switches, with all the essential elements for the inclusion of the earthing switch in the remote supervision and control system SDET. The cable sizing is performed, as well as protective devices coordination, which are unavoidable steps in the planning or design of electrical enclosure, and thus ensuring safety in the event of failures for systems as for humans.
The purpose of thesis is to show how to ensure the safest implementation of work processes, and to show an example of effective measures in cases of emergencies. Thesis is based on the example of the sub-station (hereinafter SS) Ptuj, where a system for remote earthing of catenary was installed. To ensure remote control and monitoring, a CAU331 bay computer was installed in the control enclosure of the earthing switches, which is connected to the Control center of stable devices for electric traction (hereinafter RC SDET) via communication links. Catenary can thus be reliably grounded from the Control center of stable devices for electric traction. This simplified and accelerated the process of grounding catenary with sticks, which could previously only be physically installed by trained SŽ workers. The earthing switches are located in the external 3 kV switchyard on the catenary pole, next to the SS. Control enclosure of the earthing switches with the control acquisition unit, is built into the interior of the SS. The connection between the control enclosure of the earthing switches and the earthing switches, in order to provide remote control and signaling, is made with power / signal cables.
