The thesis discusses the welding of TIG titanium and its alloys. Of the highest value is the quality of welded joints, which is affected by many factors such as appropriate preparation of surfaces, gas protection, correctly sharpened electrodes etc. To achieve quality welded joints we welded different titanium alloys and tested them in a laboratory. Then we standardized those weld parameters and reached repeatability of welded joints. We built a welding platform with optimal weld parameters, with which we ensured the production of repeatable welding joints. Basic information about welding can be found beside the welding parameters on the platform, and is accessible to weld technologists, constructors and other company employees. The platform has a user-friendly interface, is manageable and easy to use. With our platform implementation less laboratory examinations for already tested materials will need to be performed.
