This master’s dissertation discusses a conceptual solution for the water supply system in the villages of Brezovica pri Borovnici, Niževec, Zabočevo, Dražica, and Ohonica. For the purpose of this thesis, the horizontal and vertical course of water supply alignment were edited in Sewer+ software. Additionally, for the activation of the hydraulic model, entry data were processed and prepared with Epanet software. Hydraulic model was suitably adjusted in the aspect of maintenance, optimal activity, and economical efficiency, at which all valid regulations were taken into consideration. The outline of master’s dissertation consists of a theoretical and practical part. First, the elementary equations for designs of elements for the water supply system are introduced. In the second, practical part, the discussion of the thesis is presented, followed by the analysis of hydraulic model results and description of a corresponding water supply system, supported with graphical appendices. In addition, the analysis is supported with the designs of water reservoir, a pumping station with the well water supply, pressure pipeline system for the water supply of water reservoir, including the water hammer, pipeline gravitational manifolds with placed-in manhole for pressure reduction, and a hydrophore for pressure raise in the system of a smaller section. In conclusion, a rough approximation of investment is presented with the analysis of cost calculations.
