Abstract
Ti so človeka vseskozi navdihovali in v njem vzbujali ambivalente občutke.

Title:Slovenian Warmblood Horse: A Breed in the Making
Abstract:
The master's thesis presents an anthropological insight into the formation of the Slovenian warm-blooded horse breed. The field encompasses the field of ethnozoology, ethnoecology, zoology and zootechnics and sheds light on concepts such as breed, hybridity, crossbreeding, adaptation, and purebreds. Through the ethnography of observing and learning horse breeding practices and techniques, we have intervened in the very center of mixing, addition and subtraction, revealing to us the motives, inspirations and moral beliefs of breeders. With the added breadth of historical and cultural background in the field of horse breeding and patient research of other "non-social" fields. We explain hybrids, mixed breeds and breeding animals that have inspired man and aroused ambivalent feelings in him since the moment of domestication thousands of years ago.

Keywords:horsebreeding, breed, purebred, breeding, hybridization, adaptation
