Abstract
Tehnologije igrajo vse pomembnejšo vlogo v industriji. Združevanju tradicionalne proizvodnje in modernih tehnologij pravimo Industrija 4.0.

Title:
Introducing Industry 4.0 in the company
Abstract:
Technologies are playing increasingly important role in industry. Combining traditional production and modern technology is called Industry 4.0. Expression, which was first used in Germany, is not a new technology but merely means a new approach to achieving goals that was not possible before. With the constant development of computer and production technologies we can now connect the two worlds together, which is the basic concept of Industry 4.0. The aim of the thesis is to present the introduction of a production management system in the company and the beginning of the company's di\-gi\-talization. A production management system has been successfully introduced in the company, representing the initial step in the implementation of Industry 4.0. In addition to the implementation that has automated and accelerated certain processes in the company, the company's preparations for Industry 4.0 are also described (production digitalization, introduction of a documentation and asset management systems). At the end of the thesis all the problems that occured during and after the implementation as well as our response to them are described.
