The thesis presents the planning and development of a web portal intended for the registration of firefighting equipment, firefighters, vehicles and premises of fire stations in Slovenia. Initially, the web portal was intended to record the equipment of members of the fire stations. After the implementation of this, it became clear it would be useful following all the equipment in the fire station as well, and a component part for vehicle and space management was added to the web portal. Finally, a printout and export of data of firefighters with expired medical examinations and vehicles with expired technical examinations were added too. The web portal is designed using MVC architecture. It is implemented in PHP framework Laravel and uses javascript library Vue.js and MySQL. A comparison with similar solutions showed that a system to support data handling in fire brigades does not include good enough equipment tracking. Meanwhile, systems that specialize in tracking equipment are too expensive and in most cases too extensive to use in fire brigades. The prototype of the web portal is currently active testing in the fire station.
