Abstract
V diplomski nalogi so predstavljeni eksperimenti in ovrednoteni rezultati preiskav in analiz, kjer smo raziskovali vpliv laserskega pretaljevanja na integriteto površine aluminijevih zlitin 2017 in 7075. Lasersko pretaljevanje je toplotna obdelava, kjer z zelo lokalnim segrevanjem površine spremenimo mikrostrukturo materiala. Kadar gre za obdelavo manjšega dela površine, je omenjeni postopek veliko hitrejši v primerjavi s klasičnimi postopki toplotne obdelave. V okviru diplomske naloge smo iskali optimalne pogoje za lasersko pretaljevanje aluminijevih zlitin serije 2017 in 7075. Z različnimi parametri smo lasersko pretalili vzorce in jih nato pripravili za mikroskopiranje. Nato smo na podlagi analize mikrostrukture prereza vzorca določili optimalne pogoje, s katerimi smo lasersko pretalili površino vzorcev. Po laserskem pretaljevanju smo del vzorca pripravili za analizo mikrotrdote, mikrostrukture in hrapavosti, del vzorca pa smo pripravili za meritve elektrokemijske korozije. Z izvedbo diplomske naloge smo želeli ugotoviti ali je lasersko pretaljevanje primerno za aluminijeve zlitine serije 2017 in 7075 ter kako lasersko pretaljevanje vpliva na njuno mikrostrukturo, mikrotrdoto, hrapavost ter korozijsko odpornost.

Title:Influence of laser surface melting of aluminium alloys on surface integrity
Abstract:
In this thesis, experiments and results of the research of laser surface remelting impact on surface integrity of aluminium alloys 2017 and 7075 are presented. Laser surface remelting is heat treatment of material, where microstructure of material by very local heating of the surface is changed.. This method is much faster than conventional heat treatment methods when only a small part of the surface is treated. Optimal parameters for laser surface remelting were defined. Each sample was prepared for microscopic analysis and microstructure research. Samples were then remelted under optimal parameters. After that, samples for analysis of hardness, microstrucure, surface roughness and corrosion were prepared. All results are shown and validated in graphs, pictures and data tables. The purpose of the assignment is to define if laser surface remelting is appropriate method for aluminium alloys 2017 and 7075. We also tried to determine impact of laser surface remelting on hardness, microstrucure, surface roughness and corrosion.
