Abstract
Razvoj obdelovalnih tehnologij sledi vse pogostejši uporabi keramik.

Title:Ultrasonic micro texturing of the ceramic surface in turning process
Abstract:
The development of machining technologies follows the ever-increasing use of ceramics. An example of such high-tech materials is ZnO ceramic used in the electrical industry. In addition to design dimensions, such products must have a controlled topography of the formed surface to ensure required electrical characteristics of the final product. This is usually ensured by lapping, which, however, generates poor dimensional quality. Thus, as an alternative, a turning process with simultaneous use of ultrasonic superposition of the cutting tool for the design of macro and micro topography of surfaces is proposed and analyzed. In this work an experimental site was set up, the implementation of experiments is shown and produced surfaces are analyzed. From the analysis, correlations are established between the input process parameters and the output topographic properties of the surfaces. As a result of the work, the quality, robustness and flexibility of the proposed alternative process have been shown to be improved.
