Abstract
Beton je hitro prevzel svet. Dandanes si ne moremo predstavljati življenja brez njega. Kljub priljubljenosti ima beton kar nekaj pomanjkljivosti, zato je pomembno, da jih poskušamo odpraviti ali vsaj zmanjšati njihove učinke. V tem delu preučimo vpliv SAP kot dodatek k cementnim kompozitom. Ugotovljeno je bilo, da dodatek SAP zmanjša avtogeno krčenje, promovira hidratacijo cementa, izboljša reološke lastnosti, izboljša samoceljeneje in odpornost na zmrzal.

Title:The effect of superabsorbent polymers on the microstructure and self-healing properties of cementitious-based composite materials
Abstract:
Concrete quickly took over the world. Nowadays we can not imagine life without it. Despite it's popularity, concrete has few flaws. It is therefore important that we try to eliminate these shortcomings or at least reduce their effects. In this section, I examine the impact of SAP as an additive to cement composites. SAP additive has been found to reduce autogenous shrinkage, promote cement hydration, improve rheological properties, improve self-healing, and increases frost resistance.
