Abstract
V magistrskem delu je predstavljena zasnova in preliminarno testiranje magnetnega absolutnega dajalnika v montaži s strani za vodenje sinhronskega motorja s trajnimi magneti. V uvodnem delu je predstavljeno delovanje magnetnega dajalnika s strani, ter zahteve po katerih smo izbrali v nalogi obravnavan dajalnik MAQ470. V nadaljevanju je predstavljeno načrtovanje tiskanega vezja, ki omogoča montažo integriranega vezja dajalnika v izbrano ohišje. Nato je predstavljen postopek izbire magnetnega obroča za izbrani dajalnik. Sledi opis konstruiranja mehanskih prilagoditev za implementacijo izbranega dajalnika in magnetnega obroča na testni elektromotor za opravljanje meritev. V naslednjem poglavju so predstavljene opravljene meritve na dinamometru, s katerimi ugotavljamo napako dajalnika pri različnih aksialnih pozicijah magnetnega obročka ter vpliv faznih tokov na napako dajalnika. Opravljen je tudi preizkus komunikacije preko sinhronskega serijskega vodila (angl.: Synchronous Serial Interface – SSI) s krmilnikom iz podjetja. Sledijo še meritve absolutne napake dajalnika na napravi za validacijo dajalnikov v laboratoriju za regulacijsko tehniko in močnostno elektroniko (LRTME). Rezultati vseh opravljenih meritev so pokazali, da je točnost dajalnika za velikostni razred slabša od vrednosti, ki smo jo pričakovali iz specifikacij navedenih s strani proizvajalca. Zato sledi še meritev gostote magnetnega pretoka, ki ga povzroči magnetni obroček. S tem smo preverili in potrdili, da je glavni razlog za slabo točnost magnetnega dajalnika izvira iz prototipnega magnetnega obroča, saj je potek izmerjene gostote magnetnega pretoka zelo popačen.

Title:Angle measurement using MAQ470 absolute encoder
Abstract:
The master's thesis presents the design and validation of a magnetic absolute encoder in side shaft mounting, used for the control of a permanent magnets synchronous machine. In the introductory part, the operation of the side shaft magnetic encoder is presented as well as the requirements according to which the discussed encoder MAQ470 was selected. The printed circuit board design is presented, which allows the mounting of the encoder integrated circuit in the selected housing. In next chapters the process of selecting a magnetic ring for the selected encoder is presented. This is followed by the construction of mechanical adjustments for the implementation of the selected encoder and magnetic ring on the test electric motor to perform measurements. The next section presents the measurements performed on the dynamometer, with which the encoder error at different axial positions of the magnetic ring was measured and also the influence of phase currents on the encoder error was examined. An SSI communication test with a company controller was also performed. This is followed by the measurements of the absolute encoder error on the encoder validation device in the laboratory of control engineering and power electronics (LRTME). The results of all performed measurements showed and order of magnitude worse encoder accuracy than we expected it from the parameters of the device. In last chapters the measurement of the magnetic field caused by the magnetic ring is described. With measurement, we checked and confirmed that the main reason for the poor accuracy of the magnetic encoder derives from the prototype magnetic ring.
