Abstract
V poskus smo vključili 6 sort slovenskih perunik ('Mala Solfatara', 'Zlata Paleta', 'Zlati Ornat', 'Mala Pozlata', 'Majske Poljane', 'Majska Andromeda') in 6 sort tujih perunik ('Old Black Magic', 'Parfume de France', 'Princesse Caroline de Monaco', 'Baltic Star', 'Born Beautiful', 'Eleanor's Pride'). Spomladi najprej pričnejo cveteti nizke sorte bradatih perunik. V našem poskusu so pričele cveteti aprila rastline slovenskih sort 'Mala Pozlata' in 'Mala Solfatara'.

Title:Knowledge about Slovenian cultivars of bearded iris (Iris barbata L.)
Abstract:
In the Biotehnical faculty laboratory field, we performed an experiment in order to obtain basic data in the growth and development of bearded Slovene irises and also to compare them morphologically among themselves and also toward foreign cultivars. The experiment included 6 varieties of Slovenian irises ('Mala Solfatara', 'Zlata Paleta', 'Zlati Ornat', 'Mala Pozlata', 'Majske Poljane', 'Majska Andromeda') and 6 varieties of foreign irises ('Old Black Magic', 'Parfume de France', 'Princesse Caroline de Monaco', 'Baltic Star', 'Born Beautiful', 'Eleanor's Pride'). Among the varieties we morphologically compared them by width and length of the plant rosette, the height, the number of flowers per plant. We also measured flower colour, flowering time and assessed susceptibility to leaf spot. The average width and length of the plant rosette were 2,6 cm larger than foreign varieties. The height of the leaf mass was with 6,2 cm on average in foreign cultivars higher than Slovenian cultivars. The largest average length of the flower stalk of plants was measured by 28 cm foreign cultivars compared with Slovenian cultivars. Bearded irises begin to bloom in spring, holds true especially for lower varieties, but the Slovenian varieties 'Mala Pozlata' and 'Mala Solfatara' began to bloom in April. Tall bearded irises began to bloom in May and the first cultivar, which start to flower was the Slovenian cultivar 'Majske Poljane'. The average number of flowers per plant had most plants of Slovenian cultivars of irises. Foreign cultivars were the most susceptible to leaf spot and the leaf infection rate of plants of 'Mala Solfatara' variety showed the lowest infection rate.
