Abstract
Gozdarska panoga se stalno razvija in prilagaja potrebam ter zahtevam trga. Zaradi želje po izboljšanju učinkovitosti in podaljšanju življenjske dobe sistema za razrez lesa smo predelali in nadgradili obstoječ mazalni sistem. Nov sistem deluje na principu pametnega mazanja, s čimer smo zagotovili bolj učinkovito delovanje verižne žage in podaljšali njeno življenjsko dobo. Izpeljali smo celotni proces zasnove mazalnega sistema, tj. od koncepta do končnega funkcionalnega izdelka, ki je moral izpolnjevati zahteve podjetja. Predstavili smo postopke zajemanja podatkov posameznih komponent mazalnega sistema. Po zaključeni fazi konstruiranja smo izvedli meritve tlaka sistema, pomika bata ter iztisnjeni volumen maziva. Meritve sistema smo izvedli pri različnih delovnih temperaturah in frekvencah. Ugotovili smo, da tlak narašča z večanjem frekvence obremenjevanja in pada z večanjem temperature, pomik pa je neodvisen od obeh parametrov. Pokazali smo tudi, da na volumen iztisnjenega mazalnega sredstva odločilno vplivata obratovalna frekvenca in temperatura.

Title:Development of an solenoid driven lubrication system for a sword saw chain
Abstract:
Forestry is constantly evolving and adapting to the needs and demands of the market. In an effort to improve the efficiency and service life of the wood cutting system, we have redesigned and upgraded the existing lubrication system. The new system works on the principle of smart lubrication, which ensures more efficient operation of the chainsaw and extends its service life. We carried out the entire process of developing the lubrication system from concept to the final functional product, which had to meet the company’s requirements. We presented the procedures for data collection of each component of the lubrication system. After the design phase, measurements of system pressure, piston displacement and volume of lubricant expelled were made. The system measurements were made at various operating temperatures and frequencies. We found that pressure increases with increasing load frequency and decreases with increasing temperature. The displacement on the other hand is independent of both parameters. We have also shown that the volume of lubricant expelled is decisively influenced by the operating frequency and temperature.
