Abstract
Namen naloge je analiza vizualizacij ZLS arheoloških najdišč Bele krajine in korelacija prepoznanih sledi z že znanimi topografskimi podatki. Naloga je sestavljena iz kratkega orisa Bele krajine (geografski in zgodovinsko/arheološki), predstavitve metode dela in analize vizualizacij ZLS. Analiza ZLS je sestavljena iz kratkega orisa že prepoznanih reliefnih sledi, analize vizualizacij ZLS in primerjave rezultatov z že prepoznanimi sledmi. Pri analizi sem se osredotočal na prepoznavanje in interpretacijo območij, ki so starejša od novega veka oz. sedanjosti. Zanimala me je korelacija med že dokumentiranimi topografskimi sledmi in njihovo vidnostjo na vizualizacijah ZLS. Na podlagi rezultatov analize sem nato izluščil nove potencialne arheološke lokacije v Beli krajini. Ugotovitve so predstavljene kataloško. Pri analizi sem se naslanjal na delo Janeza Dularja: Arheološka topografija Slovenije: Topografsko območje XI (Bela krajina) in zbirko poročil Varstvo spomenikov. Moj cilj je bil nadgradnja dosedanjega znanja o arheološki krajini in odkrivanje potencialnih arheoloških najdišč.

Title:Upgrade of archaeological topography of Bela krajina with LIDAR
Abstract:
The purpose of this thesis is to analize ALS vizualizations of archeological sites in Bela krajina and correlation of the recognizable traces with already known topographical data. The thesis consists of a brief outline of Bela krajina (geographical and archeological), a description of the methodology and analysis of ALS visualizations. ALS analysis consists of a short outline of already recognized traces, analysis of ALS vizualizations and comparison of new and old data. In the analysis, I focused primarily on identifying and interpreting sites with archeological potential that are older than the present. Main goal of this thesis was the correlation of already documented topographical traces and their visibility on ALS visualizations. Based on the result of the analysis, I then applied the finds in search for potential archeological sites in the rest of Bela krajina. Findings are presented in a catalog with the description of the sites, documented topographical traces, their visibility and newly identified traces. In the analysis I relied on the work of Janez Dular: Arheološka topografija Slovenije: Topografsko območje XI (Bela krajina) and reports from Varstvo spomenikov. My goal was to upgrade current knowledge of the arhaeological landscape and to discover new potential archaelogical sites.
