This master's thesis focuses on the analysis of necropolises of the southern part of the Republic of Northern Macedonia, which was inhabited by the so-called Gevgelija cultural group during the Early Iron Age. Most attention was paid to the four best researched and most published necropolises (Dedeli, Lisičin Dol, Suva Reka and Milci). Through analogies of grave goods on a broader regional level, we sought to precisely date the beginning of burials at a particular location and for how long they were practised there, studied similarities and differences concerning grave goods, which was the basis for determening social structure of prehistoric communities.
