Abstract
Diplomska naloga obravnava keramično gradivo iz brinjegorskega testnega jarka 2. S tem lahko namreč rimsko naselbino povežemo z bližnjimi in daljnimi poznoantičnimi višinskimi naselbinami. Rezultati pa predstavljajo pomemben korak naprej k celovitejšemu razumevanju preteklosti Brinjeve gore.

Title:
Brinjeva gora in the light of late antique finds: Analysis of ceramic material from test trench 2 (1962)
Abstract:
The diploma thesis deals with ceramic material from the test trench 2 from Brinjeva gora. It was excavated in 1962 under the leadership of Stanko Pahič. The thesis presents a summary of the history of research on Brinjeva gora up to the present day. A special chapter is devoted to the pottery kiln discovered in the test trench. Most of the pottery belongs to the coarse ware pottery group. The history of research of the mentioned group is also described. The main emphasis is on the typological analysis of the material and the search for analogies. Results link the roman settlement to nearby and distant late antique highland settlements. They also represent an important step towards a more comprehensive understanding of the past of Brinjeva gora.
