Abstract
V diplomski nalogi bom predstavila jamska svetišča z območja med severnim Jadranom in vzhodnimi Alpami, njihove značilnosti in razvoj tekom antike.

Title:Cave sanctuaries between the Northern Adriatic and Eastern Alps in Antiquity
Abstract:
In my bachelor's thesis, I will present the cave sanctuaries, located in the area between the Northern Adriatic and the Eastern Alps, their characteristics and development throughout the Age of Antiquity. The first part of the thesis outlines the history of the area, as well as of the religions, which were worshipped there, and the history of research of the caves in the area. The timeframe of the thesis has been set between the Augustan period, when most of the area came under Roman rule, and the beginning of the fifth century, when most of the cave sites were abandoned. The second part of the thesis is a catalogue of archaeological cave sites, which could have been used as sanctuaries.

Keywords:archaeology, Roman period, cave sanctuaries, religion.
