Abstract
Državna blaginja skuša doseči oziroma omogočiti vsakemu državljanu dostop do socialnih pravic.

Title:Social welfare of Slovenia and Norway
Abstract:
In my thesis, I explore the differences between the countries of Norway and Slovenia. The two countries are alike and different. Norway is not a member of the European Union like Slovenia, but it is still very successful in many areas. The two countries share common ground, both of which are committed to social welfare, but Norway is more successful in doing so. Key socio-geographical factors of both countries show fairly similar statistics in most factors. Norway has a Scandinavian model of social welfare that operates on the principle of equality. All citizens, regardless of their social status, are included in this model. In Slovenia, however, it is still possible to partly detect the state-socialist welfare system, which used to be actual in the past. Social welfare is one of the most important concepts these days. It's spread all over the world. Most of it is found among the countries that are the most developed or medium-developed. The concept is about ensuring the security or the possibility of the "normal" survival of each citizen of each country. The state of prosperity seeks to or makes it possible for every citizen to have access to social rights.
