Abstract
Tradicionalno so se za določitev debeline snežne odeje uporabljale zamudne točkovne metode. V zadnjem času se vse pogosteje uporabljajo naprednejše metode, ki omogočajo množični zajem, kot so terestrični laserski skenerji in fotogrametrija z daljinsko vodeni letalniki. Pri uporabi slednjega veliko težavo predstavlja predvsem homogenost snežne odeje, ki algoritmu močno uteži iskanje značilnih točk, ki predstavljajo osnovo za izdelavo kvalitetnega 3D modela. V tej magistrski nalogi opisujemo postopek določitve debeline snežne odeje na letalnic v Planici. Na teren smo se odpravili štirikrat in skupno opravili 9 preletov letalnice. Postopek določitve sloni na primerjavi georeferenciranih 3D modelov, izdelanih brez snega in s snegom. To zahteva kvalitetno izdelane 3D modele. Homogenost snežne odeje smo poskušali zmanjšati z risanjem barvnih črt na vrhnji sloj podlage. Za določitev debeline snežne odeje smo uporabili funkcijo »Cloud-mesh distance«, ki je vključena v programu CloudCompare.

Title:Determination of snow depth on Planica ski jump based on comparison between photogrammetric 3D models : master thesis
Abstract:
Traditionally, time-consuming point methods have been used to determine the snow depth. Recently, more advanced methods using newer mass capture methods such as terrestrial laser scanner and unmanned aerial vehicle have been used increasingly. When using the latter, a big problem is the homogeneity of the snow cover which makes it very difficult for algorithm to find matching points which are the basis for making a quality 3D model. In this master's thesis, we describe the procedure for determining the snow depth at ski jump in Planica. We went to the site four times and together we made nine UAV flights over the ski jump. The determination process is based on a comparison of georeferenced 3D models made without snow and with snow. This requires well-made 3D models. We tried to reduce the homogeneity of the snow cover by drawing coloured lines on the top layer of the base. To determine the thickness of the snow cover, we used the "Cloud-mesh distance" function, which is included in the CloudCompare program.
