Abstract
V diplomski nalogi sem analiziral kapacitetno in prometno varnost izbranega križišča. Najprej sem predstavil obstoječo problematiko, nato predlagal rešitve in jih tudi teoretično zasnoval. V izbranem križišču je zaradi velike prometne obremenitve, sploh v času prometnih konjic, vključevanje iz neprednostne ceste zelo zahtevno in dolgotrajno. Križišče se kot prvo nahaja izven naselja, zato so tudi hitrosti vozil tukaj večje, poleg tega pa je prednostna cesta speljana v premi, tako da dopušča tudi hitrosti, ki so večje od dovoljenih. Izbral sem si tri rešitve. Ustreznost dveh sem preveril tekom izdelave diplomske naloge, eno pa sem dodal kot možnost. Ena od rešitev je izdelava krožišča, druga pa uvedba pospeševalnega pasu, kot ga uporabljajo v sosednjih državah. Rešitve sem prikazal grafično in opisno, podprte in utemeljene so z izračuni na podlagi realnih podatkov.

Title:Capacitive and traffic safety analysis of motorway junction Kranj east on G2-104/1136 in km 1,110
Abstract:
In my graduation assigment I have analysed traffic and traffic safety dependion on it in chosen intersection. In the beginning I presented the problem I am facing and then I put on some solutions which could make things better in my opinion. Entering the main road from the side road can be a big problem in chosen intersection, especially in rush hours. The intersecion is located outside the urban area, so speed limits are higher than in the center of city. The main road is almost in straight line, which means speed limits can be easily surpassed. I have chosen 3 solutions. I have analysed two of them through my assignment, one of them I just mentioned as a possibility. One of them is the construction of a roundabout and the other one in adding an extra speeding lane between opposite driving lanes. Solutions are presented graphically, descriptively and defined with calculations on real data.
