In the diploma work, my design process is presented, which is related to the development of a planter for outdoor and indoor use. The concept is thus based on the possibility of moving the trough according to the user's preference and available space and with the help of porous clay pots, it prevents plants or crops from being over-or under-watered.
The first section of the diploma thesis describes in further detail the analytical-research part, which I investigated to facilitate the understanding of the chosen topic. It covers everything from the history of vegetable production, the development of controlled systems, comparisons between cultivation methods and their effects on our planet to a detailed overview of leafy vegetables, modern dietary trends, and solutions that are already available on the market. Subsequently, based on the research and user analysis, I started planning. the product design process is presented through the conceptual or the design phase, which I started by setting design starting points and experimenting, based on which I then finalized my concept. In the end, I focused on the presentation of the product through various scenarios and supported it with pictorial material and 3D visualizations.
