Abstract
Največjo slabost uporabe slame v gradnji predstavlja vlaga. Za boljše razumevanje in poznavanje tega področja, smo raziskovali prenos toplote in vodne pare skozi steno iz slamnatih bal, ometano z ilovnatim in apnenim ometom. Pripravili in izvedli smo terenske in laboratorijske meritve.

Title:The heat and moisture transfer through a wall made of straw and clay : master thesis No.: 53/II. ST
Abstract:
The use of straw under construction has a relatively short history. In the past it was mainly used as roofing and as a fitting in construction with land. The least known is the use of straw in the form of bales. Today's interest in the use of straw in construction is mainly due to its ecological value and insulating characteristics. The biggest weakness in the use of straw in construction is moisture. The thesis presents the transfer of heat and water vapor through a wall of straw bales, plastered with clay and lime plaster. We focused on the problem of moisture in the structure from straw bales. We analyzed the real building % the home house. The analyses included laboratory measurements of materials samples, measurements with sensors on the object, and a link between the information obtained in the computational model. Using the Glasser method, we performed a calculation of the condensation of water vapour in the wall. We found that the straw wall is well designed, as the amount of condensed moisture is lower than allowed and the wall dries out at a reasonable time. There's no need for a steam barrier.
