Abstract
Magistrsko delo ponuja etimološko (tj. fonetično, morfološko in semantično) analizo indoevropskega gradiva za leksem ‛čebula’, zbranega v okviru priprave jezikovnih atlasov SLA (Slovenski lingvistični atlas), OLA (Obščeslavjanskij lingvističeskij atlas ‛Slovanski lingvistični atlas’) in ALE (Atlas linguarum Europae ‛Evropski lingvistični atlas’). Analizirano je gradivo iz slovenskih narečij (SLA), narečij drugih slovanskih jezikov (OLA) in indoevropskih jezikov v Evropi (baltski, germanski, keltski, romanski, albanščina, grščina, armenščina) (ALE).

Abstract:
Master thesis offers an etymological (ie. phonetic, morphological and semantic) analysis of Indo-European material for the lexeme ‛onion’ collected in the preparation of the linguistic atlases SLA (Slovenski lingvistični atlas ‛Slovene Linguistic Atlas’), OLA (Obščeslavjanskij lingvističeskij atlas ‛Slavic Linguistic Atlas’) and ALE (Atlas linguarum Europae ‛Linguistic Atlas of Europe’). Material from Slovene dialects (SLA), dialects of other Slavic languages (OLA) and Indo-European languages in Europe (Baltic, Germanic, Celtic, Romance, Albanian, Greek, Armenian) (ALE) is been analyzed.
