Primerjava Flutter in React Native na primeru mobilne aplikacije

Diplomska naloga primarno predstavlja izdelavo dveh enakih polno-funkcionalnih mobilnih aplikacij, v ogrodjih Flutter in React Native. V začetnem teoretičnem delu so predstavljene zasnove, principi in značilnosti obeh ogrodij, v nadaljevanju pa empirično analizirane in ovrednotene uporabnosti ponujenih funkcionalnosti. Ugotovili smo, da obe ogrodji odražata zrelost za profesionalno uporabo v razvoju kompleksnih, zmogljivih, odzivnih in estetskih aplikacij. Odločitev med uporabo enega in drugega je odvisna predvsem od predhodnega znanja, pri čemer je React Native potencialno boljša izbira za razvijalce, ki imajo izkušnje pri spletnem razvoju. Flutter pa ima nekoliko lepšo kodno strukturo in ambiciozno svetlo prihodnost.

• Title: Comparison of Flutter and React Native based on a mobile application case study

Abstract

This thesis primarily represents the creation of two identical full-featured mobile applications in frameworks Flutter and React Native. In the initial theoretical part, the concepts and characteristics of both frameworks are presented. We empirically analyzed and evaluated features of both frameworks and found out that both of them reflect the maturity for professional use in the development of complex, powerful, responsive and aesthetic mobile applications. The decision between using both depends primarily on prior knowledge, with React Native being a potentially better choice for developers with experience in web development. Flutter, however, has a slightly nicer code structure and an ambitious bright future.
