PROMETNA VARNOST VOZNIKOV MOTORNIH KOLES V SLOVENIJI

V diplomskem delu sem predstavila prometno varnost voznikov motornih koles v Sloveniji. Teoretski del naloge sem začela s predstavitvijo pojma prometna nesreča in z opisom dejavnikov tveganja. Definirala sem tudi koncept prometne varnosti. Nadaljevala sem z opredelitvijo motornih koles. Dotaknila sem se mobilnosti voznikov motornih koles v Sloveniji. Dejavnike, ki vplivajo na varnost voznikov motornih koles, sem razdelila glede na sistem voznik – vozilo – okolje in izpostavila njihove ključne značilnosti. Nadaljevala sem z opisom prometne varnosti motoristov v EU. V drugem delu oz. analitičnem delu diplomske naloge sem se osredotočila na analizo prometnih nesreč voznikov motornih koles v obdobju med 2009 in 2019. Pridobljene podatke sem predstavila v tabelah in v grafični obliki. Predstavljeni so splošni podatki prometnih nesreč, njihovi vzroki in tipi, časovne in krajevne značilnosti, demografske značilnosti voznikov ter posebej še značilnosti prometnih nesreč, v katerih so bile udeležene voznice motornih koles. Z njimi sem želela dobiti odgovor na osnovno trditev in identificirati področja, kjer bi prometno varnost motoristov morali izboljšati. Na podlagi analiziranih podatkov sem zapisala še kratko analizo prometnega in zdravstvenega tveganja motoristov. Nalogo sem zaključila z opredelitvijo vseh ugotovitev in možnih izboljšav.

• Title: ROAD SAFETY OF MOTORCYCLE DRIVERS IN SLOVENIA

Abstract

In my thesis I presented the road safety of motorcycle drivers in Slovenia. I started the theoretical part of the thesis with a presentation of the concept of a traffic accident and a description of risk factors. I also defined the concept of road safety. In the following chapters I defined motorcycles and I took a look at the mobility of motorcycle drivers in Slovenia. I have broken down the factors that affect the safety of motorcyclists according to the driver - vehicle - environment system and highlighted their key characteristics. In addition I described the road safety of motorcyclists in the EU. In the second, analytical part of the thesis, I focused on the analysis of traffic accidents of motorcycle drivers in the period between 2009 and 2019. I presented the obtained data in tables and in graphical form. The general data of traffic accidents, their causes and types, temporal and local characteristics, demographic characteristics of drivers, and especially the characteristics of traffic accidents in which women motorcyclists were involved are presented. With previously mentioned data, I wanted to get an answer to my initial hypothesis and identify areas where road safety for motorcyclists should be improved. Based on the analyzed data, I presented traffic and health risks of motorcyclists. I completed the task with a brief analysis of the findings and possible improvements.
