Abstract
Izdelava sodobnih orodnih vložkov za brizganje plastike je zaradi zahtevnih in kompleksnih geometrijskih oblik nedosegljiva zgolj s konvencionalnimi odrezovalnimi procesi, zato je obvladovanje postopka potopne elektroerozije neizogibno. V sklopu naloge smo podrobno razložili vse stopnje potrebne za ustrezno načrtovanje in izvedbo elektroerozijskega postopka. Orodni vložek smo uspešno izdelali, hkrati pa potrdili, kako nujno je obvladovanje vseh sekvenc, ki jih elektroerozija zahteva.

Title:Manufacturing of the cavity insert for injection moulding of the pump housing
Abstract:
Manufacturing of modern cavity inserts for injection moulding is not possible with only conventional cutting methods, because of the difficult and complex geometrical forms which require mastering of the process of electrical discharge machining. Throughout the bachelor thesis, we carefully explained all the stages needed for the correct planning and performing of the process of electrical discharge machining. We successfully manufactured the cavity insert and at the same time proved, how important it is to master all the sequences included in the electrical discharge machining.
