The final thesis describes the design and practical application of a pumping system with a turbine ram. In this piece, we parameterized and sized the key components of our pump system, using the experimental characteristics of base models. We first sketched the basic prototype system for later calculation and determined the initial parameters. Then, using geometrical characteristics shown in diagrams, we determined the angle of the driver blades and relative opening of the guide for optimal operation of the selected turbine, and based on the obtained results, we calculated the dimensions of the pump. We have calculated the safety suction lift due to cavitation and mathematically proved that the system theoretically works. We also considered the system in extreme conditions, where we showed that with our starting parameters a 14.7% drop in water level causes the pump system to collapse. Finally, we discussed the deficient elements and found some design solutions for better operation and efficiency of the machine and outlined possible directions for further research work in this field.
