Abstract
Ta nam s pomočjo dodatka 3D Printing PowerPac omogoča samodejno pretvorbo G-kode v kodo RAPID. V programu smo nastavili vse potrebne parametre in nastavitve, in izvedli simulacijo procesa. Na podlagi rezultatov simulacije smo ovrednotili uspešnost razvitega procesa.

Title:3D printing using an ABB robotic arm and dedicated software
Abstract:
Wire and arc additive manufacturing is a rapidly evolving technology that is increasingly used in industry. The welding tool needs to be moved using a robotic arm. That process requires a code, written in the robot's programming language. In this paper, we focused on ABB robotic arms. These robots use the RAPID programming language. We worked on the process of 3D printing from start to finish, starting with creating a CAD model, then slicing and generating G-code. We imported the G-code into Robotstudio, a program that automatically converts G-code to RAPID code, using the 3D Printing PowerPac add-on. We determined the necessary parameters and settings, and simulated the process. Based on the simulation, we evaluated the success of the process.
