Abrazivnost poliranja okarakterizirana s standardom abrazivnosti zobnih past

Pomemben del ščetkanja zob je odstranjevanje zobnih madežev in ohranjevanje čistoče in beline zob. Sestavni del zobnih past so tudi abrazivni elementi, ki pripomorejo h kakovosti čiščenja zobovja, hkrati pa povečajo abrazijo zoba. Testirali smo štiri različne zobne paste, naredili 3D meritve površin testiranih vzorcev ter primerjali rezultate. Test je bil opravljen v skladu s standardom SIST EN ISO 11609:2017. Abrazivnost delcev smo merili s pomočjo radioaktivnih označevalcev RDA (angl. Radioactive Dentin Abrasivity). Vrednost RDA ne sme biti večja od 250, da je zobna pasta varna za uporabo. Največji RDA smo zabeležili pri zobni pasti, ki je namenjena beljenju zob in vsebuje agresivnejše elemente.

• Title: Polishing abrasivity characterized by the standard of toothpaste abrasivity

Abstract

An important part of brushing your teeth is removing tooth stains and keeping your teeth clean and white. An integral part of toothpastes are also abrasive elements that contribute to the quality of cleaning teeth, while increasing tooth abrasion. We tested four different toothpastes, made 3D measurements of the surfaces of the tested samples, and compared the results with each other. The test was performed in accordance with the standard SIST EN ISO 11609: 2017. We found that all samples fell below the RDA value of 250. The highest RDA was recorded for toothpaste, which is intended for teeth whitening and contains more aggressive elements.
