The purpose of this diploma thesis is to create and design a functional and user-friendly website for the Atma brand. Within the theoretical section, the definitions of specific terms and explanations of the criteria are utilized in the creation of the website. According to the set criteria, we analyzed the websites of competing brands. In doing so, we determined which criteria the websites meet and which they do not. At the same time, we will ensure that our own website meets the basic criteria of the web design process and therefore is in line with current trends. Only then can we ensure a good user experience and consequently a complete, sellable product.
The experimental section presents the work methods and criteria used in the analysis of the competition and the design of a prototype website for the Atma brand. It also includes an explanation of the process of designing information architecture and wireframes. A presentation of the Atma brand style guide that was used during the design process is also included.
At the end of the diploma thesis, the results and conclusions obtained from the analysis of the competition, information architecture, and wireframes of the website are presented. The additional process of designing the header, footer, and other remaining components of each web page is also shown. The explanation of the prototyping process follows. The results of theprototype testing are written below, followed by a presentation of the final image of the website.
The result of this diploma thesis is an interactive prototype of the Atma brand website, which will be used as a starting point for further production, layout and publication of the final website.
