Determining time and dynamic material functions is a time-consuming process. By using interconversion, only one of the functions can be measured, while the other is calculated. The interconversion method was tested on PA6.
Firstly, samples were prepared for testing and glass transition temperature, as well as the range of linear viscoelastic response, were determined. Secondly, time and dynamic material functions were measured. The interconversion method was used with data obtained for both functions. The results of interconversion were evaluated and the feasibility of using interconversion for determining material properties was established.
