Abstract
Električna energija je nepogrešljiv del našega vsakdana, poraba električne energije pa se iz leta v leto zvišuje. Banki turbine bi lahko v prihodnosti pomagale reševati ta problem, ker je njihova izdelava hitra in poceni, žal pa so izkoristki primerjavi z ostalimi tipi turbin nekoliko nižji. V nalogi je opisan postopek zasnove merilne postaje za Banki turbino, ki bo postavljena na Fakulteti za gradbeništvo in geodezijo. Merilna postaja bo omogočala merjenje karakteristike turbine pri različnih pogojih, to pa bo raziskovalcem pomagalo pri razvoju turbin z boljšimi izkoristki, študentom pa boljše razumevanje delovanja turbin in elektrarn.

Title:Design of measuring station for Banki turbines
Abstract:
Electricity is an indispensable part of our daily lives and electricity consumption is increasing from year to year. Banki turbines could help solve this problem in the future because their manufactureing is fast and cheap, but unfortunately the efficiency is slightly lower compared to other types of turbines. The thesis describes the process of designing a measuring station for Banki turbine, which will be installed at the Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering. The measuring station will enable the measurement of turbine characteristics under different conditions, which will help researchers to develop a turbine with better efficiencies and students a better understanding of the operation of the turbines and power plants.
