Abstract
Cilj zaključne naloge je bil predstaviti tehnologijo vakuumskega litja, pojasniti vpliv podtlaka v kalupu in izdelati numerični model prevoda toplote med gravuro in talino. Najprej smo opisali postopek vakuumskega litja in pogoste napake, ki se pojavijo pri postopku litja. Pri opisu delovanja simulacije smo se osredotočili na programski paket MagmaSoft. V programu Mathematica smo izdelali numerični model prevoda toplote na podlagi metode končnih volumnov. V nadaljevanju smo analizirali še vpliv gostote mreže končnih volumnov in velikosti časovnega koraka.

Title:
Numerical modeling of vacuum casting
Abstract:
The aim of the final paper is to present a technology of vacuum die casting, to explain the influence of negative pressure and to make a numerical model of heat transfer between the mold and melt. First we described a process of vacuum die casting and the common errors that occur during the process, where we focused on MagmaSoft software. We made a numerical model of heat transfer based on a finite volume method in Mathematica programme. After that we also analysed the influence of the mesh density of the finite volumes and the size of the time step.
