Abstract
Srčnožilne bolezni so v razvitem delu sveta najpogostejši vzrok obolevnosti in umrljivosti odraslih. Srčni infarkt in možganska kap, ki sta nenadna zapleta bolezni možganskega žilja, povzročata največ smrti in dolgotrajnih posledic. Z zdravim načinom življenja lahko zaplete zaradi srčnožilnih bolezni uspešno omejimo in podaljšamo življenjsko dobo. Najpogostejši dejavniki tveganja so zvišan krvni tlak, zvišan holesterol, kajenje in telesna neaktivnost. Posamezniki so bili v študiji opazovani največ 32 let ali do njihove smrti, zato smo podatke desno nekonstantno krnili.

Title:Survival analysis for cardiovascular diseases
Abstract:
Cardiovascular diseases are the most common cause of adult morbidity and mortality in the developed part of the world. Heart attack and stroke, which are sudden complications of cerebrovascular diseases, cause the most deaths and long-term consequences. Healthy lifestyle can successfully limit complications from cardiovascular diseases and prolong life. The most common risk factors are high blood pressure, high cholesterol, smoking and physical inactivity. The risk varies between the sexes and increases with age. Risk tables, calculated to estimate risk of death from cardiovascular diseases, are commonly used in medical profession. In case of high risk doctors recommend a change in lifestyle. In this work, we estimated these risks with the Weibull regression model. The data come from the first part of well known cohort Framingham study of heart disease. Individuals were observed in the study for a maximum of 32 years or until their death, so the data are right non-constantly censored.
