Abstract

Title:Computer-assisted analysis of the poetry of Igo Gruden
Abstract:
The thesis presents a computer analysis of the work of the Slovene poet Igo Gruden and therefore deals with the computer-assisted analysis of literary works. The digital revolution we are witnessing in the last decades is spreading into more and more fields, including the humanities. The intersection between digital technologies and humanities disciplines is called digital humanities. This field is connected with the theory of distant reading as opposed to the so-called close reading.
