Abstract
V diplomski nalogi so predmet raziskave in preračunov pasivno varni stebrički.

Title:Modelling and analysis of passively safe polyethylene roadside bollards
Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with passively safe polyethylene roadside bollards (PSB). The main problems are their compliance with the current Slovenian legislation as well as the unwanted and inadvertent damage that occurs in their application. The literature section focuses on the Slovenian Rules on Traffic Signs and Equipment on Roads. European standards, valid in Slovenia, are presented as well as the calculations that the Slovenian rules dictate. In the practical part of the thesis, the procedure is designed for calculating the load of PSB during ploughing. The course of measuring snow density and the design solution of the base that prevents the unwanted twist of the PSB are also presented. The results have shown that under normal conditions the PSB undergo ploughing without difficulty; two crucial factors are the speed of the plough and snow density. As far as ensuring passive safety goes, it is best to leave the PSB geometry as it is; more attention should be paid to removing snow from the carriageway.
