VPLIV COVIDA-19 NA TRŽIŠČE POMORSKIH KRIŽARJENJ

Leto 2020 je zaznamoval pojav novega, gripi podobnega virusa, poimenovanega SARS-CoV-2 ali covid-19. Zaradi visoke stopnje razširjenosti virusa po celem svetu je bila razglašena pandemija. Za ublažitev hitrega širjenja virusa so vlade sprejele stroge ukrepe, kot so šolanje in delo od doma, zaustavitev javnega življenja, obvezno nošenje mask, zapiranje meja in 14-dnevna karantena ob vstopu v državo. Pandemija je prizadela skoraj vse panoge, tudi transport. Potniški transport je bil v celoti ustavljen ali je potekal pod strogimi pogoji. Pomorska križarjenja so utrpela največjo ekonomsko škodo, zato v diplomski nalogi obravnavamo vpliv pandemije na tržišče pomorskih križarjenj.

• Title: IMPACT OF COVID-19 ON THE MARITIME CRUISE MARKET

Abstract

The year 2019 was marked by the appearance of a new flu-like virus called SARS-Cov-2 or covid-19. A pandemic has been declared due to the high prevalence of the virus worldwide. To mitigate the rapid spread of the virus, governments have taken strict measures sucha as schooling and working from home, stopping public life, wearing masks, closing borders and 14-day quarantine upon entering the country. The pandemic has affected various industries, including transport. Passenger transport was stopped completly or took place under strict conditions. Maritime cruises have suffered the greatest economic damage, so in this thesis we will discuss the impact of the pandemic on the cruise market.
