Abstract
V magistrskem delu sem opisal in izdelal linearni pospeševalnik feromagnetnih delcev. V praktičnem delu sem opisal fizične lastnosti naprave in njene sestavne dele, njihovo uporabo pa utemeljil s teoretičnimi in empiričnimi argumenti.

Title:Two-phase induction driven accelerator of ferromagnetic projectiles
Abstract:
In my master thesis i described and created a linear accelerator of ferromagnetic particles. In the theoretical section I presented the electronics and physics-related concepts that are essential for the operation and construction of the device. In the practical section I described physical aspects of the project and used components. I presented either theoretical or empirical arguments for chosen components. Finally, I carried out calculations and measurements of some quantities and commented on their values. When I calculated and measured the same quantity I compared the two and tried to explain the mismatch between them. By creating this project I tried to show that even more complex physical phenomena and experiments can be demonstrated to people without pricy and hard to get equipment or roadtrips to research centres. Every physics teacher can, given enough will, create a replica of my project for relatively low cost and show his students how a particle accelerator, like the one in CERN, works.
