Abstract

Abstract:
From today's perspective the decision to introduce Slovene as the language of instruction at the University of Ljubljana in 1919 might seem logical and obvious. However, investigation of the history of the creation of the university shows that this was not the case. As some recently collected data among the international students learning Slovene at the University Ljubljana shows, the decision for Slovene was the right one.
