Abstract
Za merjenje hitrosti tekočine v praksi pogosto uporabljamo Pitotove merilne cevi. Umerjanje le-teh se izvaja v vetrovniku, kjer se referenčna hitrost zraka načeloma določa z etalonskim LDA-merilnim sistemom, namen kalibracije pa je določitev merilnega pogreška med izmerjeno hitrostjo zraka z merilnim sistemom s Pitotovo cevjo in referenčno hitrostjo oziroma določitev kalibracijskega faktorja merilne cevi. V diplomskem delu smo z upoštevanjem zahtev relevantne literature opredelili splošen postopek umerjanja Pitotove merilne cevi za merjenje hitrosti zraka. V skladu z definiranim postopkom smo izvedli tudi konkreten primer kalibracije merilne cevi, za izvedbo katere smo postavili tudi ustrezen merilni sistem. Skozi nalogo smo opisali vse postopke, ki so pomembni pri umerjanju merilne cevi, na koncu pa smo rezultate praktične kalibracije ustrezno obdelali in predstavili.

Title:Calibration of Pitot tube for measurements of air velocity
Abstract:
Pitot tube is often used for fluid velocity measurement. Calibration of Pitot tube is performed in wind tunnel, with standard LDA – measurement system. The purpose of calibration is to determine measurement error between indicated and reference air speed or to determine calibration factor of the measurement tube. In this thesis, by taking into account relevant references, we defined the general process of calibration of Pitot measurement tube for the purpose of air velocity measurement. In line with the defined process, we performed a concrete example of calibrating measurement tube, for which we had to set up suitable measurement system. Throughout the thesis, all the important procedures for calibrating the measurement tube are described. In the end, the results of the practical implementation of calibration are adequately discussed and presented.
