This master’s thesis deals with the design of sustainable packaging for organically produced milk products. It solves a real-life problem for a specific client, the Kumparička Goat Farm. Within the framework of this thesis, we have helped them make a transition to environmentally friendlier packaging. In doing so, we have taken into account a wide variety of factors influencing the final choice of individual packaging. We have studied the entire product life from production to transport and final destination, we have taken into consideration the client’s limitations and needs, and at the same time considered the effect the selected packaging would have on the environment throughout its entire life cycle. The result of this thesis is packaging for milk products, which satisfies the client’s and product’s needs and is environmentally friendly at the same time.
