Abstract
Teoretična struktura diplomske naloge je osnovana na lastnih ustvarjalnih praksah v dveh glavnih kategorijah. Kot prvo kategorijo obravnavam medij fotografije, preko katerega se v vsakodnevnem življenju najpogosteje izražam. Vendar pa me zaradi vseprisotnosti fotografij in njihove prepletenosti s sodobnim načinom življenja nekaj oddaljuje od uporabe tega medija. V nalogi zatorej na implicitni ravni raziskujem potencialne razloge za to svojo odtujitev. V drugi kategoriji se posvetim teoretski obravnavi arhiva in raziskujem njegov odnos do umetniškega delovanja. Smiselnost te kategorije se skriva v praktičnem delu diplomske naloge, pri katerem se odločim za rekontekstualizacijo neke že obstoječe substance po metodah apropriacije in transformacije. V praktičnem delu skozi refleksijo ustvarjalnega procesa osmislim sklepno dejanje diplomskega projekta.

Title:Photography in a Time of Mass Production and Online Distribution
Abstract:
This thesis' theoretical framework is founded on two principal categories found within my artistic practice. The first is photography, the medium most commonly employed in my daily life. However, having recently become somewhat estranged from its use, mainly due to photography's sustained presence and interwovenness with contemporary society, the following thesis proposes an implicit investigation into the potential reasons for this estrangement. The second category is devoted to a theoretical exploration of archiving and its relationship to artistic practice. The finality of this analysis lies in the practical portion of the thesis. Here, an existing substance is recontextualized following the methods of appropriation and transformation, thus rounding out the final stage of my graduation project by providing a reflection on the creative process.
