Abstract

Title:
Analysis of job satisfaction of healthcare professionals in the selected healthcare center
Abstract:
Employee satisfaction is important for any organization because satisfied employees are more productive at work and more committed to the organization. An employee who is dissatisfied with work lacks the will and motivation to do the job well and accurately. The survey which was included in the bachelor's thesis assessed job satisfaction at ZD Tolmin. The research was performed using a survey method. The results of this survey showed that most employees are satisfied with their employment and relationships. The highest degree of dissatisfaction in the survey was detected in connection with promotion which is determined by law and regulations by decree on the promotion of civil servants to salary grades. Younger employees, up to the age of 30, believe that managers require them to take greater responsibility for their work. Older employees from the age of 30 believe that employment at ZD Tolmin is safe and guaranteed. Those who are employees of the organization for up to 1 year emphasize the importance of learning from each other, help and that they are independent in their work. Mutual relations between employees are good, which indicates that the organization successfully resolves conflicts because mutual relations are the most important aspects in achieving results when working in a team. By regularly measuring employee satisfaction, the organization could further improve employee satisfaction because a large proportion of employees are undecided. They are neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. The organization could conduct a survey on employee affiliation to the organization.
