In the first part of the master's thesis, I explore the painting image in artistic practice, which aims to establish a dialogue with the viewer. This kind of dialogue can be established in different forms of artistic practice and in different periods. The purpose of the thesis is to establish an understanding of the effect that a painting image has on the viewer, nevertheless; the painting offers an experience of massive changes. I will do the work of the theoretical part separately, although I will not avoid other influences on my own work. My goal is to gain knowledge that will be useful to me in the future.
