The goal of any organization is successful operation, which largely depends on employee satisfaction. Satisfied employees are more productive, dedicated to work and focused on greater performance and development of the organization. It can be concluded that satisfied employees are the main foundation of any successful organization. The theoretical part of the thesis presents the concept of employee satisfaction, satisfaction and dissatisfaction in workplace, satisfaction factors and motivation in the work environment. The empirical part presents the results of the research, tested hypotheses and suggestions for improvements. We conducted the research using a survey of employee satisfaction. With the research, we wanted to find out which factors have the greatest impact on employees and what importance they attach to each individual factor. The research showed that employees like to do their job and are independent in performing tasks. Among the best rated factors, employees ranked working hours and diverse work, among the lower rated factors were salary and commendation for a job well done.
