Abstract
Uvod: Današnji študentje pripadajo generaciji, ki je rojena v času razmaha informacijske tehnologije, s katero so tudi odraščali. Mladi so v tem digitalnem svetu doma, računalnike in mobilne naprave uporabljajo tako v zasebnem življenju kot pri študiju. Vendar to ne pomeni, da so tudi informacijsko pismeni, da znajo informacije poiskati, jih ovrednotiti in uporabiti za učenje. Namen: Namen diplomskega dela je ugotoviti stopnjo informacijske pismenosti med študenti zdravstvene nege na Zdravstveni fakulteti Univerze v Ljubljani. Metode dela: Izvedena je bila kvantitativna presečna raziskava. Kot merski instrument je bil uporabljen vprašalnik Slovenski test informacijske pismenosti. Raziskava je bila opravljena septembra 2019. Zajemala je vzorec 136 študentov vseh letnikov dodiplomskega študijskega programa Zdravstvena nega na Zdravstveni fakulteti Univerze v Ljubljani. Od tega je bilo 90 % žensk in 10 % moških. Rezultati: Na vprašalnik je v celoti ustrezno odgovorilo 121 študentov. Glede na Bloomove kognitivne stopnje so bili anketirani študenti najbolj uspešni pri vprašanjih, ki se nanašajo na prvo kognitivno stopnjo ? pomnjenje (65 %), nekoliko manj pri vprašanjih druge kognitivne stopnje ? razumevanje (61 %) in najmanj (46 %) pri vprašanjih tretje kognitivne stopnje ? uporaba znanja in višje kognitivne stopnje. Povprečje pravilnih odgovorov na vprašanja o Boolovih logičnih operatorjih je 67 %. Študenti so šibkejši pri izdelavi zahtevnejših iskalnih profilov, ki zahtevajo znanje o Boolovih operatorjih in razumevanje njihovih funkcij. Razprava in zaključek: Ustrezna informacijska pismenost je ključna za uspešno življenje in študij v sodobnem času. Sestavlja jo skupek veščin, pomembnih za uspešno iskanje, analizo in uporabo informacij. Izvedena raziskava je pokazala, da bi bilo potrebno med izobraževalne vsebine vključiti tudi take vsebine, ki bi študentom omogočile izboljšanje informacijske pismenosti.

Title:Information literacy of nursing students : diploma work
Abstract:
Introduction: Today's students belong to a generation born during the boom in information technology with which they grew up. Young people are at home in this digital world, using computers and mobile devices for both their private lives and their studies. However, this does not mean that they are also information literate, that they can find, evaluate and use information for learning. Purpose: The purpose of the diploma work is to determine the level of information literacy among nursing students of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Ljubljana. Methods: A quantitative cross-sectional study was performed. Students' information literacy test in the Slovenian language was used as a measuring instrument. The survey was conducted in September 2019. It included a sample of 136 students of all years of the undergraduate study program of nursing at Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Ljubljana. Of these, 90 % were women and 10 % were men. Results: 121 students responded to the questionnaire in full. According to Bloom's cognitive levels, they were most successful on first level questions ⠒ memorization (65 %), slightly less on second level questions – comprehension (61 %) and least (46 %) on third level questions ⠒ knowledge use and higher cognitive levels. The average of correct answers to questions about Boolean logical operators is 67 %. Students are weaker in creating more sophisticated search profiles that require knowledge of Boolean operators and an understanding of their functions. Discussion and conclusion: Adequate information literacy is key to a successful life and study in modern times. It consists of a set of skills important for successful search, analysis and use of information. The research has shown that it would be necessary to include in the educational content such content that would enable students to improve information literacy.
