In the bachelor's thesis is discussed reorganisation of interior door manufacturing with additional production areas. In the introductory part, we presented the theoretical bases and methods used. These include value stream mapping, the Schmigalla method, the pairwise exchange method and the Tecnomatix Plant Simulation. With their help, we evaluated the existing situation, reorganised it and added new parallel workplace positions to it. The obtained situation was re-analysed and we established a 68% reduction in transport costs, which was calculated by using the pairwise exchange method. In addition, we achieved a 43.43% reduction in throughput time with minimal investment, which was determined by using a computer simulation. We applied the obtained optimised state to the actual production premises of the company by using the Schmigalla method, which we supplemented with our own creative solutions.
